New Fan Set

New DC Final Crisis fan set!

My friend MartianGreeny and yours truly have been working hard these past months to bring you a new VS System fan set (like we did with the Immortal Weapons set).

I'll be putting them in the gallery as I post them. If you've been reading the recent Final Crisis comics you can probably already guess the teams we picked for this set. Most of the teams already existed in earlier sets, but we've pumped them up with new characters and keywords.

As you may have noticed the numbers on the bottom of the preview cards: Superman: Red Son (DCF-029), Mind Trick (DCF-214), etc. We have over 200 cards in our fan set!

I'll be posting them over the next few weeks, a couple of cards at a time, so keep it here.

Funny you should mention it...

My friend Matt and I just started work on a Blackest Night fan set. We can only go so far, since only the first few issues are out, but we've been getting the other Lantern teams down and have a good idea who all the Black Lanterns are gonna be. Of course if you have any suggestions on characters or cards, I'd love to hear them.

In keeping with making cards for current DC story lines, we're also gonna have some new Gotham Knights and Arkham Inmates cards based off the new Batman & Robin comics (w/ Dick Grayson as Batman and Damian Wayne as Robin) and the recent other Batman comics.

I'm also also want to add a few new Shadowpact chracters from the Reign in Hell storyline, but it wouldn't be a whole team.

But yeah, the main teams will be the different colored Lanterns (though Orange Lantern is gonna be a problem, since Lafreeze is the only real one and the rest are constructs, but we'll figure it out).

It's like you're reading my mind bro :D

Ha ha, I only asked because my brother has like, every Blackest Night issue so far, and I went to his place to read them and I was hooked. I haven't actually followed any Marvel or DC storyline in years, but this one's got me really into it.

I know, I feel that Blackest Night is the one big event that won't let us down, we're already two issues in and I'm totally hooked. Both with who they have the guts to kill off and who they have the audacity to bring back as a Black Lantern.

The fact that Geoff Johns has been planning this since he wrote the Sinestro Corps War over a year ago lets me know that some thought and planning actually went into this, unlike so other events that felt like they were just wandering around aimlessly.

I just finished issue #2 and GL #39 today, have you read them yet? let me know what you think, I don't wanna spoil anything for you.
